Honkai Star Rail Fugue Build: Relics, Light Cones & Teams
Fugue is finally here with the 2nd phase in HSR 2.7 and she is a must-pull for anyone who has a Break team. Fugue is the reincarnated version of Tingyun, who was nearly killed by Phantylia the Undying. With the help of Ruan Mei, she has finally come back but in a new form. She is another character that bolsters the Break meta in Honkai Star Rail, making it strong for the new upcoming trailblazing arc in Amphoreus. If you are planning to get Fugue, here is how you can best build Fugue in Honkai Star Rail.
Honkai Star Rail Fugue Build: Overview
Here is how you can build Fugue in HSR with her best Relics, Planar Ornaments, Stats, Light Cone and Teams:
- Relic: Iron Cavalry Against the Scourge (4-piece)
- Planar Ornament: Talia: Kingdom of Banditry
- Main Stats: Effect Hit Rate % (Body), Speed (Boots), HP % (Sphere), ERR % (Link Rope)
- Sub Stats: Effect Hit Rate (67% or more) > Break Effect (200%) > Speed (160) > HP% = Defense %
- Light Cone: Long Road Leads Home (5-star), Resolution Shines as Pearls of Sweat (4-star)
- Team: Firefly, Ruan Mei, Fugue, Lingsha
HSR Fugue Build: Best Relics
The 4-piece Iron Cavalry Against the Scourge set is the best Relic set for Fugue. It gives her 16% increased break effect, while also making her Break and Super Break damage ignore a percentage of enemy defenses when the wearer has more than the threshold Break Effect 150/250. With Fugue dealing a fair amount of Break Damage herself, this Relic perfectly pairs with her kit.
Other than that, you can also use Thief of Shooting Meteor if you have good stats on it, or Eagle of Twilight Line if you want to 0 cycle clear. Two piece sets Break Effect or with Speed can also work with Fugue.
HSR Fugue Build: Best Planar Ornaments
- Talia: Kingdom of Banditry
- Forge of the Kalpagni Lantern (Fire weakness)
- Lushaka, the Sunken Seas
Talia: Kingdom of Banditry is the clear pick for Fugue’ best planar ornament. This planar ornament increases the wearer’s Break Effect by 36% once they cross the 145 speed threshold, making it the perfect pick for Fugue. Other than that, you can also use Forge of the Kalpagni Lantern against enemies with Fire weakness or Lushaka the Sunken Seas for faster Energy Regeneration.
Main and Sub Stats for Fugue
Relics | Main / Sub-Stat |
---|---|
Head | HP / Effect Hit Rate > Break Effect > Speed > HP% = Defense % |
Hands | Attack / Effect Hit Rate > Break Effect > Speed > HP% = Defense % |
Body | Effect Hit Rate % / Break Effect > Speed > HP% = Defense % |
Feet | Speed / Effect Hit Rate > Break Effect > HP% = Defense % |
Planar Sphere | HP % / Effect Hit Rate > Break Effect > Speed > Defense % |
Link Rope | ERR % / Effect Hit Rate > Break Effect > Speed > HP% = Defense % |
For Fugue’s Relic stats, prioritize hitting 67% or more Effect Hit Rate. You want Fugue’s debuff from her Skill to land on enemies, decreasing their Defenses every time. Also, try to reach 200% or more Break Effect with her stats alone, and 160 Speed Breakpoint. Other than that, dump everything else on HP% and Defense to increase her survivability.
For her main stats, pick an Effect Hit Rate body, Speed boots, HP% Planar Sphere, and Energy Regeneration Link Rope. You can also use a Break Effect Rope, if you are failing to meet her Break Effect requirements.
Best Light Cones for Fugue Build in HSR
- Long Road Leads Home
- Resolution Shines as Pearls of Sweat
- Before the Tutorial Mission Starts
- Solitary Healing
- Fermata
Fugue has a few very good Light Cones, and her best in-slot option is Long Road Leads Home, which is also her Signature Light Cone. This Light Cone increases her Break Effect by 60% and also increases Break Damage taken by enemies when their Weakness is Broken for 2 turns. Other than that, the Resolution Shines as Pearls of Sweat Light Cone is Fugue’s best 4-star option.
Before the Tutorial Mission Starts is another great option if you have it. For F2P options, you can use Solitary Healing from the Herta Store. Similarly, Fermata is another decent option if you have none of the other mentioned Light Cones.
Best Fugue Teams in Honkai Star Rail
The best team for Fugue will be a Break team, so characters like Firefly, Boothill, Rappa are the best option for Fugue. When it comes to support units, Ruan Mei and Harmony Trailblazer are the clear favorites. Other than that, she can pair with any support unit depending on the team she is playing in. For Sustains, Lingsha and Gallagher are clear favorites as they increase the Break damage received by enemies.
For her F2P teams, pair Fugue with Hunt March 7th, Harmony Trailblazer, and Gallagher to create a strong Break team team. You can also replace March 7th with and 4-star DPS with a Break Damage build if you want.
